PSU Green Buildings
Adopted green building policies and green building projects
Design Guidelines and Recommendations
The Office of Physical Plant has adopted a policy for all new or renewed buildings. The initial charge from the Associate Vice President's office was followed by a LEED Process Action Team effort to develop a PSU policy for applying the USGBC's LEED Green Building Rating System. The LEED Process Action Team consists of representatives from across the Office of Physical Plant, Transportation Services, Purchasing Services, and Environmental Health and Safety. The process action team will continue to monitor the implementation of the PSU LEED Policy on construction projects and update the policy as new versions of standards are adopted.
The PSU LEED Policy has been focused to provide design professionals
with Penn State's approach to applying the LEED Green Building Rating
System to construction projects.
